Overview
A news platform that connects video and articles to their sources, claim checks and correction history.
Technical work
- Designed a story format joining short video, written context, individual claims, sources, rights and correction history for readers and publishers.
- Built verification agents that compare claims across sources and record supporting evidence, conflicts and uncertainty. Labels such as Developing, Disputed and Corrected preserve the history rather than overwrite it.
- Implemented workflows from ingestion and claim extraction through review, publication, rechecking and correction notifications, with policy and human approval steps.
- Built Go API and worker services using Temporal, PostgreSQL, Redis and MinIO. Transactional outbox and idempotency controls support reliable event delivery; authorization checks and citation requirements constrain access and generated answers.
